| Courtney Fortson
Fortson recently listed us in his top 3 with Missouri and FSU as the other 2. Arkansas, Minnesota, and Kentucky round out his suitors at the moment. The 5'10" PG says he wants to have a decision by the end of the summer.
Here is a scouting report on him(#63 player in 08, #6 PG):
Undersized but a dynamic player, Fortson is an excellent competitor who defends and rebounds. Offensively, the lefty is fast with the ball and can finish at the rim. He shoots it well off the dribble, but does have room to improve the consistency of his outside jumper. |

| Do you think being a lefty will help him against defenders who are used to right handed pg's? I don't even know if this is a plausible idea, but it's just something that came to mind. Being so strong coming off the left side, and using the right side as a backup seems intriguing to me. | |

| We would take him if he wants to commit. We want 2 guards to go along with Jurick and Singleton/Miller/Zeller/whomever. Elliot Williams is easily the priority guard. Behind him are guys like Fortson, Shumpert, Steele, and a few others. | |

| Yeah, and an article printed today had quotes from him saying that UT, FSU, and Mizzu are his top 3 with UK, Arky, and Minnesota also calling him. | |
