Ladson was one of three former Florida commits to earn an invite to the Five-Star Challenge. Ladson is one of the tallest wide receivers in the country. And while Sunday wasn’t his best day, he was definitely still in the upper echelon of receivers in attendance.

A junior at Homestead (Fla) South Dade High School, Ladson is a popular name in recruiting offices all over the country. He’s strongly considering Miami, Clemson and Georgia but also holds offers from schools such as Alabama, LSU, Florida State and others.

6'4", 170 lbs?! That's one skinny kid!

I believe he could easily handle another 40 or 50 pounds. 6'4'' 170 lbs sounds pretty fragile to me. I am betting that he would struggle trying to bench 200 pounds. However, he must have decent athletic ability if he actually has all of those offers. In basketball, I remember a player, whose last name was Snodgrass. He was pretty close to 7 feet and weighed maybe 200 pounds soaking wet. He was a big disappointment in basketball. He just wasn't tough enough.
