This guy has a better offer list than a few of the others. Hopefully that is a good sign

We heard about another mystery visitor on campus this morning. Have confirmed it is JUCO DE Jordan Allen. The City College of San Francisco earned a UT offer earlier in the week. He was supposed to be at Nebraska this weekend but ended up at Tennessee instead. He is an EE and plans to sign next Wednesday.

Will add Allen has already been on OVs to Michigan State, TCU and Colorado.

This guy has Jonathan Kongbo written all over him.

Also, he’s the next Leonard Little.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder committed to UC Davis out of high school, where he’d been a receiver and a safety. He redshirted at UC Davis and chose to transfer to CCSF. It wasn’t a grades issue. Allen just thought he could do better than FCS. “And he was right,” CCSF defensive coordinator Anthony Feliciano said. Allen had all the tools to be an elite pass rusher, so Feliciano had him develop that specific skill. When a tight end covered Allen, he’d put his hand on the ground and play defensive end. When there was no tight end, Allen stood in a two-point stance like an outside linebacker.

Feliciano didn’t want to complicate it. He told Allen to rush the passer. “I mainly wanted him to be a bad--- at one thing, and he was,” Feliciano said of Allen, who had 4.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss and many more hurries. “He’s so explosive, so fast, and his change-of-direction speed is really good.”
