| Philip Jurick to commit soon Quote: |
According to Sport Talk on the radio in Chattanooga today it was said by the host that the word on the street is that Jurick would commit to the Vols in the next couple of days. Also, that he will probably not play for East Ridge next year and xfer to one of the prep schools to improve his game and grades.

also from a guy on scout Quote: |
He is coming for another unofficial visit this week...it is speculated by some that are in a position to know that he will commit on this visit ....only history will record if they are right and we will know soon.

| That would be nice. If the Tyler Smith thing works out, then landing a top 2008 recruit. Wow... |

| Brent Hubbs also reported that he will be in on an unofficial visit and may commit.
I suppose we may be taking Beas Hamga off of the board. |

| I would rather have Hamga because he seems to fit our system more and his stock is going up, but Jurick is very raw and Pearl could tap into that potential. |

| I'll take him if he commits. He is a banger which we don't have and Hamga isn't much of one. |

| When in doubt, ALWAYS take the in-state prospect, IMO. |

| There isn't doubt here. It's two completely different prospects with two completely different games. The staff knows who they want. It just happens to be different from who I want. It looks like they will get their wish though. I think either will do well for us though. |
