I missed this when he tweeted it out about 45 minutes ago, but his dad just texted me about it: Tennessee offered four-star Illinois TE Luke Ford this morning. Dad said the offer came from Butch. Ford was committed to Arkansas for about three months, then kind of surprisingly stepped away from that commitment last month. Has been wide open since and adding offers at a feverish pace.

Luke has shown interest in every school that has offered recently. Couldn't say yet whether that interest is any more or less than other recent offers.

It is not great competition - plays in Daniel Helm's neck of the woods - but I've seen him against top competition at some good camps this off-season. He's the real deal.
