A huge part of recruiting is being able to identify top talent that slips through the cracks. Everyone can spot a freak, the challenge is finding the great ones that on paper look like average Joes and don't camp. We have our own examples but check out Joshua Jacobs at Bama. He is by far their lowest rated back, but probably the second best back on their team. May be the very best considering he is a true freshman.

Looks like 3* U is 5 - 0 and looking at a possibility of either making the playoffs or making one of the New Years Six bowls. Not bad for a team whose staff is being consistently ridiculed for recruiting 3* players that end up being valuable members of a winning team.

Good argument, except that the players that got us to 5-0 are by and large 4 and 5 star players. This year is when the 3 star cavalcade began.

3* U wont start until next year or the year after... once they get on the field
