| Trying to get C Anthony McClain out of DC. 6'11" kid ranked in the top 50 or 60 players. Probably fighting Cincy for him. |

Boy it would be nice to have a true center again! |

| UConn sounds out of it from what I've read. UF probably won't have a scholly for him. It is us and Cincy. I think playing time is the huge deal here(which he would be in the 2 deep immediately). |

We have a guy coming in, JP Prince, he's not really a recruit, but he'll be new next year. You can currently see him as the long lanky kid who looks like Tayshaun Prince (his cousin) at the end of the UT bench. He was a highly touted recruited coming out of High School who went to Arizona. Due to illness/whatever he never flourished there and decided to transfer to either UT or Vandy. I think Vandy was his first choice, but the rule was they didn't accept mid-season transfers, so he ended up at UT. He should add some great wing strength along with Tatum. He's currently practicing with the team and will be eligible to play at the end of the '07 fall semester. |

| I believe the general perception is that Scout has the edge in evaluating basketball talent and rankings, but they are still slow when it comes to updating and obtaining new information.
Scout does not list Anthony McClain with us because they have not spoken to him since McClain established his new final four. Rivals has.
From what I gather, most seem to think it's a UT/Cincy battle, with the Bearcats having a slight edge. Of course, that could change if he makes it to campus. |

| Yeah, McClain didn't have any real updates for a long time and, before then, he was a big UConn lean. Alot has changed in that time. |

| From what I've heard, McClain wants to go somewhere where he can be developed into an NBA-type Center. I don't know if UT fits that bill but, I think the year that UT has been having in comparison with Cincy then, can't hurt. Would be awesome to land this kid! |
