Bench press means jack squat for QB's. Just how hard and far can you throw it boss.

Will he be the last QB prospect named Knox before Knox Kiffin in 2028?

not any more. why would We? what is the pt? its a pushing off. explosive movement. how many times a day do you lay flat on your back and push heavy objects off of you.

its funny to walk into a gym and see the group of older fellas doing only bench press. its impressive yes. but pointless to a pt of being counterproductive health wise.

I was just trying to help and get his numbers up there correctly. The stats were from NCSA from 2 summers ago and have not been updated.
Great kid with really good numbers for 2015:

I like the name knox. but needs to work on that bench press

Bench has nothing to do with the how far he can throw. I could barely do 155 when I was playing. My QB competition was against a guy who could bench 275. His max was 55 with little accuracy. My max was 65 yards on a dime. Squats and Deadlift are what matter. Make sure he has solid leg strength to drive the ball off with back foot, and solid leg strength will help him break tackles.

I agree with you on leg strength!!! The arm needs to be accurate with distance. The kid has both for his age 15yrs old. Knox started as a Freshman last year putting up those numbers as a 14 yr old kid playing AAAAA football. He will get better these next 3 years and looking forward to watching him progress into the next level.

Ran for 125 yards and 2 tds on only 8 carries in the State Championship vs Buford last night. He looked like he would fit our offense very well. He is still a SO and needs so work on his passing, but it looks like he had a good command of the offense. He is going to win a lot of games in his high school career. State champion as a SO and Rome started like 7 or 8 other sophomores.
