I am seeing an odd pattern here. Looks like well over 100 of our 150 or so offers in 2018 are kids in the Top200. Interesting how the higher rated guys fit the recruiting profile in 2018 and didn't in 2017. Odd.

Looks like Butch has went after the higher ranked ones early for 2018 unlike he has done for the 2017 class. That's what it looks like to me anyhow.

I was curious so I checked. We offered about 140 of the top200 in 2017 and 315 total over all so far. We did get 2 commits out of those 140 offers thus far.

Edit. 2016 was 315 offers. 2017 is 354 offers thus far.

That's a pretty good difference but I guess it doesn't probably mean that much either. It would if we could get some of these top 2018 recruits to commit to us early.

Per 247 Sports Fontaine has said his top 4 schools as of right now are Maryland, Ohio State, Nebraska, & UT in that order.
