Rumson (NJ) Fair Haven Regional 2018 tight end Elijah McAllister has arrived at the U.S. Army Bowl National Combine holding a bunch of early offers including Tennessee, Maryland, Virginia, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Temple, Boston College and UConn.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound McAllister says the Vols scholarship is the one that has impressed the most early.

“It’s SEC football, that’s it,” McAllister said.

McAllister was in Knoxville for the season-opening win over Appalachian State.

“I liked the SEC culture, everyone is great down South. Growing up in New Jersey, a lot of fast-moving people, not everyone is nice. Down South everyone is nice.

“I talk to Coach Butch Jones a lot and Coach Larry Scott the tight ends coach a lot, four times a week.”

McAllister grew up a Michigan fan and wants to play in the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry. The Wolverines have been in contact.

We're still the leader for McAllister. He still hasn't received his dream off of Michigan yet though. Hopefully, they won't even offer so we have the better chance at getting him.
