Three-star junior linebacker Tadarrius Patterson of George W. Carver High School in Birmingham, Ala., posted on his Twitter account Monday that he has received a scholarship offer from Tennessee.

The 6-foot-1, 217-pound Patterson added that he's already planning to visit the Vols on Saturday for their junior day.

Patterson holds offers from more than 15 schools, including Auburn, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Indiana, Southern Miss, Troy, Tulane, UAB, Arkansas State, Middle Tennessee and Charlotte. He's also drawing interest from Alabama, which hosted him Saturday for its junior day.

A 2*. No thanks. Keep those for long snappers and kickers IMO.

Ended up being wrong imo. Maybe UK feels good about him, but I think we'll end up regretting it.

You ended up benefitting from Dooley pretending he knew talent, and dumping Khalid Henderson for Christian Harris. :pinch:

Keeping the spot for Marchiol IMO.

Marchiol has had nothing but great things to say about us lately... so who knows. I haven't watched this kid's film yet or Marchiol's yet, so I don't know how to feel about us potentially passing on Patterson.
