we have to recruit against UF/National Champion....from Espn:

For years, much to the delight of college football fans, these three programs have battled for supremacy in not only the Sunshine State, but all of college football. But now that Florida is the reigning champion in both football and men's basketball, it's not even an argument as to which program is the best.

"I know where I would want to go," Meyer said. "Am I allowed to say that for recruiting? Good. Say that again. Print that. I know where I would want to go."

Yeah, I think we've had to recruit against UF for quite a while now but good try at stirring the pot.

I guess the truth hurts. While I love recruiting, I would much rather have a National Championship. ESPN understands that everything just got alot harder for us.

This will be a huge change from the days that Florida respected us immediately ended contact with any prospect we decided to offer.

I guess that is part of reason that some people think UT will be better off by joining the Big East...

the only point I was trying to make is that as UF and LSU win Natl Championships, we compete for 4th place in the SEC. Their present success just ensures a tougher and tougher road for the Vols. I guess that explains how the last time Florida won it all, we followed it up with 2 SEC titles and a national championship.

A person of such high intelligence ought to be able to do better than that.

good point GA. anyone that didn't know on monday night we were recruiting against a national championship team should have their head examined.
