Maybe Rick Barnes could use him. 13 feet is a little tall for football.

Ford was suspended from the program in March due to unspecified rules violations. A day later, his parents later “never recovered completely (physically and/or mentally)” from a broken bone in his leg suffered during Oklahoma’s win over Tennessee on Sept. 13, 2014.

Usually they can't transfer to schools who are on the schedule so I'm gonna guess no.

He will still have to sit out during the 2015 season, so I don't think it would matter since we don't play OU beyond then, but it sounds like he is getting an unconditional release anyhow.

Why is it every time a player leaves a school, someone on here wants to pick them up. They are leaving for a reason. Why would we want some other teams driftwood

I agree. I view Juco players the same way. The burden of proof is on them to show that they can actually succeed at this level. And kamara is no different.

bc Keith Ford has talent and people see how ridiculously thin we are at RB.

BTW Its a joke we are going to attempt to go into a season with two RBs. nightmare.

We have Kelley coming in and have athletes on the roster that could help if disaster strikes. RB is the easiest position to learn on the field. It's not like left tackle

Spot on.

The reason is when Dooley was here, we were desperate for talent and depth. Fans haven't yet adjusted to the new era of having SEC players on the roster

Totally agree--- still can't figure out why we pushed Bussey(committed) and his Dad away on the last weekend of official visits i believe offering him to grey shirt unless they thought Paulk was coming back.... now no Bussey and no Paulk..... makes no sense...

Thank you! People keep forgetting we have four guys coming in that can play the position.

Bruce and Perry are not ready to be SEC running backs. RDV may help in an emergency but he's to small to be an every down back. Kelly is our best hope. Evan Berry may get a look if disaster strikes.

Yeah Bruce and Perry definitely need a year to redshirt.

I'd be sad if we had to move Berry to RB. He seems poised to breakout and make an impact at safety this year.

CBJ has been here now goin into his 3rd year.......it's about time that everybody "is used to it" and stop bringin up those other 2 goober smoochers!!! They do not deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence or paragraph with CBJ and UT Football!!!!

*Edit*
The 2 goober smoochers are Dooley n Kiffen.....

How about if we open the season with 7? 4 are on roster as of now.

STARTER IF VOLS PLAYED TODAY: Sophomore Jalen Hurd.

UP NEXT FOR NOW: Sophomore Alvin Kamara, sophomore walk-on Jayson Sparks, freshman walk-on Kendrick Turner.

COMING THIS SUMMER: Three-star athlete signee John Kelly from Michigan is scheduled to enroll this summer and will be a running back at Tennessee, and he’s likely to be joined by fifth-year senior transfer Ralph David Abernathy IV from the University of Cincinnati and also potentially by uncommitted three-star running back prospect Joseph Young from South Carolina.
