Matt Fink - Hudl
Matt Fink, Glendora, Dual-Threat Quarterback

Per Hubbs

If the Vols miss out on Guarantano a name to watch is California quarterback Matt Fink. Tennessee has kept in touch with Fink and he could be someone that the Vols could offer quickly if they Guarantano decides not to choose Tennessee.

He's only a 3-star.
I'm not sure that's high enough to show up on Butch's '16 radar screen.

If for some reason JG commits to OSU, Fink wouldn't be a bad consolation prize. His tape is very, very impressive.

He has a USC and a Notre Dame offer so that only should speak for him. He is a very good player but JG>MF

Wait a minute. Smallish, white, prostyle passer? Half the guys in the football forum would have him pegged as an awful match for our offense and a likely transfer before the ink on his LOI was dry.

Yeah, but his great great grandfather (Mike) was the only guy who could beat Dan'l Boone in an arm-wrestling match.

Brent Hubbs is digging for drama on the QB recruiting. This kid will have no interest in Tennessee. VQ has lost all credibility with that post.

I really don't think one post about a backup quarterback prospect causes VQ to "lose all credibility"
