We've signed a couple of African players, but they were already in the US when we identified and started to pursue them. To my knowledge, we have not sent coaches overseas to scout and recruit.

I remember Ray Mears bringing in two highly touted "furriners" from New York City back in the day. That worked out pretty well.

The reason I was asking is a lot of the smaller schools. Wichita State and Gonzaga for example. Have great success in doing so.
