Of course, vandy didn't reaveal how much they spend. Like it is a big secret.

Vandy won't reveal how much their football coach is getting paid BUT a couple of months ago, a student damaged the baseball field and they made sure that they told the local media that he did $20,000 worth of damage.

If you can announce how much you spend on building projects and other things, why not announce the salary of your coaching staffs?

As paltry as the amount SCJr is spending it looks like they just do not care. TAMU has so much talent in state you can kind of see their small payout.

Cause they are a PRIVATE school and it's really nobody's business. If you put yourself in their shoes you would agree I think.

I work for a private company and have no idea what our balance sheet looks like. After working for a large public company for 25yrs, it's a nice change along with a lot of other perks I could never have had at my other job.

Because if word got out how much Mason is stealing from them, then all 10 fans would protest outside of their high school stadium.

So like 1% of the total $ Tennessee football brings in?

Auburn spent like 1.5 million last year IIRC. Gotta spend big to recruit big.

The thread title sounds dirty. I feel like Alabama or Ohio St. Suits & tattoos are expensive. Lol

With more and more instate talent being SEC caliber, UT should be able to keep it under a million next class. Dave Hart said, "I like to hear that".

These are official spends. If you look at the behind the scene $$ that players get, I am sure Auburn, Ole mi$$ and Bama will be in the top...

Wasn't this info already posted several weeks ago?

Yes, & there is NO news here. Tennessee has had one of the largest recruiting budgets for 30+ years. Until recently Tennessee high school football was a joke, so the VOLS have had to travel far & wide to find players.

Tenne$$ee recruits well. Since everyone is saying we buy our recruits I thought I'll just throw in a dollar sign. If we do buy our recruits we do a better job then Clemson, ole miss, and auburn now

Where our program was left after Kiffin and Dooley. You have to spend big time money to recruit to build it back. Just saying. We will get our investment back a 100 times over.

Yep, pretty much travel budget is most of it. I think we've been at the top of the spending list almost every year for at least the last 15 years. Auburn may have passed us one year in official expenditures.
