McKenzie and Tuttle named . . .

If K-MAC is number 2, who in the H@LL is number 1, K-MAC will come in here from day 1 and eat D-LINEMEN for lunch, just hope he doesn't hurt ours.

This is rather ironic seeing as how Luginbill constantly argues on Twitter that Kahlil doesn't deserve a 5th star.

We have been knowing that on VN, now the rest of the country does as well. The best thing is they are IMPACT players at a position of need for us. What was it Coach Strip said this yr about DT's, something to the effect of "2 to play and 1 for a spare". We lose one as a senior, but we also have another good young player coming in Piccou (sp?). So these IMPACT players are here at the right time for UT.

Think about this Barnett, Tuttle, K-Mac, Phillips, on the field at once I know they will be young, but these young VOLS will Dominate the other Teams OL for the next couple of years.

Hope he is eating up other teams O-LINEMAN first but if he snacks on a D-LINEMAN or two that ought to make it that much easier on Hurd, Kamara, Dobbs and company as well.

Here is the article, from ESPN Insider.

Ronald Jones (USCw) and Chrisitan Wilkins (Clem) are listed as #1/2

Here are 10 committed prospect who have the chance to contribute early and often in the 2015 season (All Conferences):

3. DT Kahlil McKenzie, Tennessee
Tennessee primarily focused on defensive end in the 2014 class, this year it is at tackle. McKenzie, a legacy prospect, is the ideal fit as a one technique or two-gap, early down run-stopper who can hold the point and also collapse the pocket. He adds much-needed size in the middle of the Vols defense and is a force at the point of attack.

9. DT Shy Tuttle, Tennessee
While Kahlil McKenzie will be an early down contributor for the Vols, Tuttle comes into play as a three-technique who can be a bit more agile, disruptive and lateral in his movements sideline to sideline. Tuttle could play in a variety of alignments and create quite a formidable duo with McKenzie at a position of significant need.

A little off topic but kind of in the same vein here. Does anyone know when Rivals will post there last update on stars? I saw a tweet earlier this week where one of their people commented about adding some 5*'s and the dropping somebody. But there was no mention, I saw, of when they will post all this.

Imagine this: Freddie Kitchens at q.b. for O Bama. End of 4th quarter, O Bama down by 5. 35 yard line.
4th down.

Tuttle, K-Mac, Phillips & Barnett on the field. No way he completes the first down. O Bama loses!!!!

Even Leonard Little is confused by this post.

(Bama down by 7 with 39 seconds on the 11 yard line)
