Butch ought to crank the heat back up on Chuma. USC's struggles are the worst kind. A kid from a state we do reasonably well in who is a 5-star at the position of most dire need. Thig-it and Butch-slap-it.

IMO, don't waste the time. CBJ and staff pushed pretty hard already to get Edoga to consider UT. All the kid did was BS the fans on twitter into thinking UT was actually in it. Better to focus the search for another OT IF the staff wants to take one to kids who are actually open to playing in Knoxville.

I thought we pushed pretty hard for him too, so I just don't see it happening. Kids that want to play here will come, and he made it pretty clear by messing with the fans like he did that he couldn't care less about being here. To each his own.

Neither one fits our system IMO. Both players are generally from schemes where they stay between the defender and the QB. We should look elsewhere.

Yeah and richmond has slow feet and will probably be a guard anyway.

Kind of like the playing time Coleman Thomas and co. are enjoying right now.

It could be used as a negative recruiting tool as well actually.

"Look at UT's line, they are starting several TFR". "You could end up being stuck behind them for 2-3 years".

If they don't fit our scheme, then why did CBJ push so hard for Chuma and is continually pushing for Richmond? Your statement makes no sense. It makes no difference what scheme a guy plays in in HS. They adapt.

He can go to the West Coast. He's very quick for his size and moves his feet extremely well, but at this point it's Allen, Burrell, or Richmond IMO. Moobs had his chance and the ship has sailed.

I find it hard to believe that if Chuma really wanted to play here that Butch would turn him away.

It's not that Butch would turn him away, but it's that the effort and time involved to get back in it that makes me say the ship has sailed. Time better spent on Allen, Burrell, & Richmond.

Reread livefaith's post and then take a minute and think real hard about it.
