New rivals article says that Jay Smith is going to open his recruitment back up and visit VT and UT. He said he still might end up at NC State but he will not decide until he meets with the new coach. So you could say he is now down to a final 3 of VT, UT, and NC State.

Dwight Jones is visiting UT, most likely on Dec. 10th. He said he is not making any decisions until he talks with Butch Davis. Its probably a good sign that they havent even talked yet. My first call when I became coach at UNC would have been to Jones. But, what do I know.
