If this needs to go in the recruiting forum please move it, but I just thought this was very interesting with the OL Drew Richmond going to Ole Miss. So I looked at ALL the 4 star or better players according to rivals and 9 out of 12 were going to teams other than Tennessee (with 1 still undecided).

Is this a trend of what is to come for Tennessee and they are not national ranked like Alabama, Ole Miss, and Georgia (BUT VANDY come ON!!!!!).

Or is this just a off year of kids that just wanted to go to a top 5 school and win a National Title no matter what??

Here is the list from rivals. Last year we got like 8 out of 11 and though this year we might get 8/12 or 9/12. Just think it is odd

Yes, Butch has completely lost his ability to recruit, the sky is definitely falling.

I'm not sure how much time the staff should waste in Memphis anymore. Good talent comes out of there. Rarely comes here though..

We needed so much last year it was appealing. Jefferson won't get as much of a chance to play early at UT as at GA. Memphis is closer to Ole Miss than UT and ole miss is actually more popular. He's in for a lot of instate talent next year as well. He's still getting a great recruiting class so don't freak out. We signed 32 guys last year because we had so many holes to fill in depth and talent.

This is why this website is special.

When a thread is started that you know is going to get trashed, it takes a matter of seconds for it to just get eaten alive.
