Butch has long proclaimed that the "Legacy Class" would be the foundation of future greatness for this program. Just how quickly and strongly they would make their presence felt is born out by the following facts: "By the midway point of the first quarter, Tennessee already had played 16 true freshmen, the most ever used by the Vols in a season opener. They ended up using 21 true freshmen" (Vols Cruise Past Utah State in Opener, 38-7 - UTSPORTS.COM - University of Tennessee Athletics). When you consider that an additional eleven junior college transfers and redshirt freshmen made their debut Saturday (Five things we learned about the Vols vs. Utah State), it is abundantly clear that, for better or worse, youth most definitely is being served. Considering how many players saw action for the first time against Utah State, the degree to which they dominated the Aggies, as well as the obvious upgrade in team speed, is most impressive.

Nowadays kids are more prepared for contributing as a true freshmen more than ever with the early enrollment and the personal coaches(Buck Fitzgerald as one example) for specialized strength and conditioning. With that said, I'll take young inexperienced talent over experience every day of the week.

This class will be special!

We can test your opinion after the GA and Obammer games. The good thing is that the inexperienced talent will morph into experienced talent. Another great recruiting class and we be good!!!!!!
