4-star, #20 DT in the country said this yesterday:

"They were already one of the schools that was really in there, that I was looking at hard, but now I would say that they're the team to beat," Melancon said of where Tennessee stood. "I actually kind of wanted to commit while I was up there on my visit, but I was by myself, and I wasn't going to do it before I came back and talked with my family about it."

We're in on so many DTs it isn't funny. We will land 3 and all will likely be rated highly.

He actually named a top 3 yesterday and LSU was not in it. He said in the interview that he wanted to leave the state. Its possible that he is just hiding his interest in LSU. He wouldnt be the first recruit to do that. But, as far as what he said LSU is on the outside looking in.
