This is the quality of DL UT had when we won FBS-leading 157 games in 16 years (1989-2004) and beat Alabama 10 times from 1995-2006.

Tennessee's Gen. Neyland invented Defense in the SEC , not Bear Bryant, Nick Saban or Alabama. The General won 173 games: 109 were shutouts.

IMO, we definitely get McKenzie and possibly Tuttle. Don't think we get Settle. Put DJ Jones in place of Tuttle or Settle and I'd be perfectly happy.:yes:

My focus was on 3rd rounders and up, with the except ion of M. Jackson.

UNC could be in trouble with the NCAA. Clemson can't beat S. Car, and we just did.

McKenzie is a Vol and I think with the NCAA revisiting Academic Allegations against UNC it only helps our cause with Tuttle.

I think we get McKenzie....and maybe Jones at DT and that is it...maybe disappointing but DT is the hardest position to recruit to.

I would hope he would start re-thinking his choice since the NCAA verbally informed UNC they would be re-opening the academic scandal case. Could mean big blow to their athletic department.
