I always have some trepidation when we're recruiting a prospect who's transferred high schools more than once and had grade issues, but it sounds like Bowen's on the right track now.
I'll say one thing; Spurrier and SC have done a great job working the East Coast and Mid-Atlantic area. It seems as though kids just see SC as an extension of that region. He doesn't get all of them but they've done good keeping themselves in the mix.
Says he was really excited about the Tennessee and USCe offers. That the SEC is a dominating conference and he likes that. He's not worried about playing far away from home. In fact, he might just like that. Probably won't be able to visit until Summer, but definitely plans to do so.
