Earlier this month Vanderbilt hosted 4-star Athlete Frank Buncom IV for an unofficial visit and today the California playmaker released his official Top eight through his 2015 teammate Chris Gesell.

No particular order (all done alphabetical): California, Duke, Oklahoma, San Diego State, Stanford, Tennessee, UCLA and Vanderbilt.

Buncom IV is a dynamic football prospect that could play either cornerback or safety in college and Vanderbilt looks to be recruiting him currently for both positions. He informed Vandy247 that among his Top eight, Vanderbilt is a school in high consideration for his services. Buncom's crystal ball has him pointed to Stanford at 100%. He does plan to take official visits this fall and Vanderbilt is a school he would like to see once again.
