I will try to keep this updated with new interests, commitments, and rankings as I'm able. I use Rivals' position rankings (I concede 247 composite would be more ideal and balanced but I'm a creature of habit). I am not an insider or subscriber, just an analytical-minded information gather.

:good!:
Lets give some likes to the originator for taking the time to put this together!
I would say we would be hard pressed to get that many OT or DT and 2 legacies that we have to make room for are the Berry brothers.

Good work. But I just need to
Remind everyone, it's only
May. ALOT can change between now and then. Hopefully every change that happens is a positive one because people start seeing that we are kicking tail on the field. But I'm just saying....it can and will get a whole lot better, even though this list is
Amazing. Tennessee is about to get a ton of attention come
September. Can you imagine if we beat Oregon or took them to the wire?

I noticed that Junder didn't have a single "Like" until this post and now he's hit paydirt. What were you posting before?

Use of a $10 word like "compendium" is worthy of a few likes IMO.

I guess it's a good problem to have, but this breakdown shows how little wiggle room even a 30 player class has.

I don't see us trimming the numbers on the lines and the WR positions are filling up with commits.

I really can't see us taking 3 RBs or 4 LBs and if Booth does committ Friday, I think Malone might be the only other WR we would take.

I was going to start a new thread discussing position by position numbers, but junder did such a good job with this, I think we'll discuss here.

Let's talk WRs. With Booth committing Friday, we'll have the following committed:

X/Z WR: Kameel Jackson
X/Z WR: Dominique Booth
Slot WR: Lawrence Lee
Off ATH: Vic Wharton

I think in this class we're only taking 4 true WRs plus a couple offensive athletes that can do many things. I fully expect for us to look like this in February:

X/Z WR: Jackson
X/Z WR: Booth
X/Z WR: Malone
Slot WR: Lee
Slot WR: Wharton
Off ATH: Truitt

And I think that's it. That leaves Lauderdale on the outside looking in. Kitt isn't coming here, anyway, which we've known for awhile. I think all the guys listed above know this is what the coaches want, which is a reason that tweet from Lauderdale went out.

Nice list. Where would Lauderdale fit as far as X/Y or slot anyway? I think the possibility of seeing either Truitt or Vic on defense could be pretty high.

I believe Lauderdale is a X/Y guy. If Wharton and Truitt go to defense, or even just one of them, I could see Lauderdale being back in play. However, I think some posters are right in guessing that Jackson may have taken Lauderdale's spot in this class. Nobody knows for sure.

In the interview Truitt did with that Stanford dude posted on here, it seemed as if he will for sure be a CB. I haven't heard an article or interview talk about him being a WR in a while honestly.

Yeah, this is what I think as well, except If we don't get Malone, I think we will just take Truitt and be done at the offensive skill positions (except QB).

In either case, I think this theory will be tested pretty shortly, if Booth commits.

I think we take Booth, Malone, lauderdale, lee, Wharton and Truitt goes to defense. We aren't in a position to turn away Lauderdale unless there are grade issues.
