I wish these sites would just not put these numbers on kids profile. Some folks take them as gospel. Most of those the numbers are either made up by the kid or a year or two old.

255 bench? Seems low for an OT.

Would normally be a low measure of upper-body strength for an up-and-coming D1 OL.

But like a previous poster mentioned, this player is just a sophomore in HS and has two full years of strength training & conditioning to make himself stronger.

He is very likely just sixteen years old. He has plenty of time to get stronger in preparation for D1 college football. I'd expect Allen to be maxing around 330 pounds by NSD 2015. At the least.

"2015 Rivals250 OL Pat Allen just checked in. His newest offers from from FSU and VT. He likes FSU's engineering program and the VT coaching staff. Tennessee, FSU, VT, USC and WVU are really standing out to him. He is still getting letters from the coaches at USC. He wants to visit FSU, Wisconsin and Georgia. He might decide after his senior season."

Rivals250 offensive lineman Pat Allen has recently added offers from Nebraska and Arkansas. While he does not know much about those programs, he has identified four schools that he really likes and has good relationships with: Ohio State, Tennessee, Florida State and West Virginia. Allen has visited West Virginia and will visit Ohio State on March 22.

Yeah not only is he young he is also really tall at a young age - bench is tough for those really long arm guys especially when they are just growing into their bodies - my guess is that number will start to improve dramatically over the next couple of years

Wow... Bump. Completely forgot about this kid.

" Rivals250 offensive lineman Pat Allen announced a top six, in order, of Florida State, Ohio State, LSU, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin. He has visited Maryland, West Virginia and Ohio State, but wants to make it out to LSU, Miami, Florida State and Tennessee. The Reisterstown (Md.)

Franklin star admitted his mother hopes he chooses Tennessee. Florida State, Ohio State, LSU, West Virginia and maybe Georgia could all get official visits. A decision will likely come after the season or during an all-star game."
