This 2016 recruit is a very strong middle linebacker with good recognition. He was solid in pass coverage in Orlando, but he is best against the run. He showed good balance and solid footwork.

Cecil Cherry LB Frostproof - Even though Cherry is on the shorter side standing only 6-foot tall, he packs a huge punch from his inside linebacker position. He shows excellent instincts in his ability to diagnose a play early. Cherry has a long list of offers, but has not given an indication of where he may be leaning.
