The 2014 class is filled with Vol legacies and a tremendous amount of in-state talent. We lost a lot of seniors after 2013, but we can sign a maximum of 30 players as long as 5 of those are early enrollees. The (*) indicates the recruit is a Vol legacy.

There are about 8 to 10 recruits in the Rivals250 that I would be somewhat surprised if they did not end up at UT. That doesn't include the Berry twins.

Are the list of targets that already have offers from UT or ones you think will/should get offers?

Edit: Thanks for doing this and the other list you have for 2013.

Its a shame their not in the top 250. Especially Evan. But they have a whole summer and senior season ahead of them and their offer lists speak for themselves

Bars, Kelly, Malone, and Hurd are in Max Preps Top 100....

It won't be fair for Jones in his first full year recruiting cycle, but there are about 6 must have guys in this class...

Just my opinion (which ain't much) but the only must have guys instate next year are (Not counting Wharton)..
1.) Hurd
2.) Kelly Jr.
3.) Malone
4.) P. Wilson
5.) Gauldon
6.) Barrs

I think after that you have to see how you are looking as for as spots available and how those other 5 or 6 guys do during there senior season.

Those guys are IMO...

Cooperwood
Manning
Lenoir
Prather
Barrett
Ward
Baker

My guess would be TK Jr or Dillon Bates.

Hey OCI, thanks for the work on putting this together :good!:. Out of these guys who are legacy kids and who do we legitimately have a good shot at? I know Hurd isn't a legacy but do we stand a chance at all going for him?

Isaiah McDaniel? Legacy!
I can't find him listed in the rivals or 247 database.

I'm all for the legacy players but scholarships are limited and I don't want to hand out a scholarship to anyone just because there grandpa, dad or brother was a vol!

I know everyone is banking on the Berry twins but I'm expecting them to only be high 3-star guys possibly low 4-star. My reason being is it appears a lot of the top 2014 guys have already been ranked 4/5-stars and I don't think they have been rated yet.
