Looks to be a solid 230...could be a pretty good MLB/ILB if he could put on 15-20 more pounds. IMO, JMO.

Waters could easily add 15 lbs. He has powerful lower body especially for his age. I could see him at 245 and plugging the middle and chasing people down, covering if needed in intermediate zones. Watch his film, plays very instinctively.

His spark score at the DeVinner Combine in Nashville was 103. This was by a certified Sparq trainer. Check the Sparq scores around the country on the ESPN and Waters score stacks up big especially for his size. All the D-1 coaches project him at LB but fullback in that type offense is also an option. He has camped at Clemson, TN, Arkansas, KY, MTSU and UT-C. If you saw him play last year or watched the film and you would believe unless all you saw was the Catholic game mug bog.

So he camped at KY, MTSU, UTC & others. None of these powerhouse teams decided to offer him as of yet. I would look for USC, UT, Bama, and UF to offer any day now. Your right, the kid is just great.

If nothing else he would be a very good LB IMO. Can't believe we are not all over this guy.
Ms. Waters, Your bias is showing .

Well, I have seen more TN games than most of the negative posters combined and there have been a lot of very strong LB's at TN that have been under the radar. I just happened to see this kids film and saw a few games he was in and noticed him. I don't think he is TN or Ark or Clemson's top priority at LB by any means. However, he is very athletic and whether it's a upper level D-1 school or a mid major he has a chance to develop into a solid player. There is no need to disparage a local kid. Some of you posters are the reason kids like Harrison Smith, many many others choose not to sign with TN. Our fan base is generally fairly educated but often the exceptions to that rule are vocal and embarrass all of us.

So giving an opinion that doesn't match yours on the guy is being negative and an embarrassment to all of Tennessee? This is a message board designed to talk about recruits and not everyone is going to agree. No one has even bashed the kid unless you consider saying he's not SEC caliber bashing. May want to thicken your skin if your going to continue posting here bc people are going to give their opinion whether it's what u want to hear or not.

Not bashing? Some one said walk on or invited walk on. You have never even seen this kid play and if you have, you would be saying good things about him. I say you need to go watch him in person and after you do that you can judge, but until you actually watch him play your opinion isn't crap....

I would also venture to guess that the fact that UTC, Kentucky, and MTSU have chose not to offer this superstar under the radar kid after he camped at all thress schools may indicate your opinion is not worth crap. Swearing he is the next Al Wilson when he is closer to the next Betty White, seems more like it.

When did I say he was the next Al Wilson? Do I think he is under the radar? Yes I do, and he is actually close to getting an offer from those schools plus some of the bigger ones. They are coming to see him play in person before they offer. And calling him Betty White is a little extreme coming from a guy who has probably never played a sport.

I said I think he would be a good player for someone like MTSU, that is not bashing the guy in anyway. You have to be a good athlete and player to play at a school like that. And neither is saying he should be a preferred walk on at UT. The Reveiz brothers were preferred walk ons that earned scholarships later! I guess bc you have seen him play in person your opinion is better than the college staffs that chose not to extend an offer. I realize he could earn some during his senior year, but if he was as good as you are making him out to be during his jr year I would think he would have earned an offer from someone, or at least when he camped as that is when many under the radar players earn their offers. Maybe he's a late bloomer and he will blow up his senior year, and I hope that's the case bc he's a Tennessee boy. I'm just going off the limited info that's is out there on him at this point. Anyways, this isn't even worth arguing about bc we obviously won't end up seeing eye to eye. Good luck to the guy, hopefully he ends up proving everyone wrong.
