Commitments usually spiked during/right after a high school camp. High School Camp I was June 11 - 13 and look at the number of commitments right after that camp. This year High School Camp II is July 16 - 18. Look for some commitments during Camp II week and the following week or so.

Yes, Yes, Yes!
I thought the following comparison might offer some anti-Swag to those who feel good about our recruiting class. We've got a long way to go, men and women, before we should start feeling good. Maybe we'll get there, but I don't see a lot to feel good about yet. So far, this staff is under performing relative to many of our opponents.
Just for the record, I feel good about the upcoming season. I think we win at least eight games and finish in the top 25. Winning more than eight is not unreasonable. But I don't feel as good about having one of the top six recruiting classes in the SEC. Essentially, every commitment we get from here on will have to be in the top 30 at his position for us to finish in the top six.
I used Scout's rankings because it is easy to see at at glance how high a commitment is ranked at his position. That does not mean I think Scout is better at assessing talent.
Here are some SEC schools and the number of commitments they have who are ranked in the top 30 at their position.
Alabama 12
Arkansas 3
Auburn 8
Florida 10
Georgia 10
LSU 9
Missouri 6
South Carolina 4
Texas A&M 13
Tennessee 1 |

| OCIVol, I think we would see similar results if I used Rivals or another service. Maybe not as bad as Scout makes us look, but still nothing to feel good about. JMO. |

| Just to see if Rivals makes us look better, I checked their rankings of our commitments and Florida's. Here are the number of commitments each of us has who are in the top 30 at their position.
Florida 14
Tennessee 5
So, we do look better with Rivals' rankings. |

Arkansas 3
Auburn 11
Florida 14

I did not see the position rankings of Alabama's commitments, but suffice it to say they have more than 10. |

If you're going to perform this type of comparative analysis at least take the time to look at the number of commitments. Except for Auburn all the schools on the list have far more commitments than we do.
If you account for this skewing of the data, we are in the ballpark. |
