Everything he said was possible and relevant to making our team better. I say boot Darr if he doesn't improve dramatically. |

You can encourage a player to leave by saying that they wont get playing time, but pulling a scholly for performance issues isnt done. Period. |

What has palardy done to earn his keep? Granted I don't think any one of them should lose their scholarship but come on bud you can't be serious.

| If that were even a possibility we should give it to Matt Wogan from NC, because he out performed Johnathan King, and king screwed the pooch at camp from what I here. |

| | Junior Member | Purely from what I have seen in person and in the game, I do not understand how Darr got his high rating coming out of high school. They must have been inflating the ball with helium. His kicking is erratic, plus his best kicks are at best passable. Palardy at least has some pop in his leg and he is lefty so it is harder to field. Honestly think the kid is kicking too much and his leg is over used. Put him only at punter and he would be okay. |

Put him only at punter and he would be okay. | Darr had five games last year where his long punt was 49 yards or longer - that's better than 'passable' for a single kick, to me. His problem is consistency, not lack of ability to hit a good punt. Problem is the 28 yarders, not that his best ones are poor kicks. |

| The problem is not the recruits that UT brings in, it is the coaches. Darr was the #1 punter in the nation when he came here. And Parlardy was the the best place kicker in the country. The problem is that the coaching staff does not have the ability to coach the position. Much like the RB position that Dooley totally ignored for his first two years. You have to have someone on the staff that knows something about kicking.
I do not know personally, but have heard from a couple people that the coaches let the kickers go practice by themselves at practice. |
