| Interesting Tidbit on UT's Class and Rivals Ratings I believe that only 2 (Ferguson and Miles) of our 12 current commits were rated by Rivals prior to committing. |

| Well teams like Boise State and TCU thrive on them and with good coaching sometimes they turn out better than the higher rated players. Take Kellen Moore or Randall Cobb for an example. |

Couldn't be happier with the class so far, and we have plenty of room to add the "game changing" recruits later this year. |

Agree 100% We dont need coaches to invite kids to camp to see them perform in person and then look them up on rivals to see how many star they have before we offer. |

Remember the goal for those sites is to make money... not win football games or be absolutely accurate.
HOWEVER, I do not want UT modeling their roster after BSU or TCU. Those teams have made a national name by basically playing scrubs all year to get to a BCS bowl game. If UT played 12 developmental games and then one real game... things would be a lot different. |

The recruiting sites risk next to nothing. The only people who actually notice when they overrate a player is the fans of the schools that recruited him. People seldom take a whole view of their accuracy. They do reasonably well giving high ratings to guys who deserve it. But for every 4-5* player they promote, they miss 2 that might be just as deserving. |

But star gazers are about the emotion of the moment, so they prefer perception over facts. |
