| What is Tennessee's Football Recruiting budget?
The Tallahassee Democrat just released an article about how much FSU football spends on recruiting, and I was wondering what does UT spend?
The article said CBB spent just 280K in his last year on recruiting, and that CJF immediately doubled the recruiting budget to over 500K in his first season as part of the overhaul of the program. I would think Tennessee spends a lot more considering you have to go out of state for more prospects than we do in Florida. http://www.tallahassee.com/article/2...text|frontpage |

Fsu can walk from campus for most of their recruits, we have to fly in and out of an expensive airport and reach a pretty broad area, though the increasing highschool talent in Tennessee is helping.

It is 500 miles from Tallahassee to Miami.
Atlanta is half the distance from Tallahassee as Miami, at 274 miles. To paint the picture like all the Florida recruits are close to FSU isn't accurate. For a comparison that might mean more to you, it is the same distance from Tallahassee to Miami as Johnson City to Memphis. Not exactly a walk from campus. | |
