I was probably a bit too vocal about the need to replace both Joseph and Hiestand as last season unfolded, but the lack of proper coaching for our defensive backs and O-line was so obvious that I felt we could never get better with either of them on our staff.
Needless to say, I was very gratified at the coaching changes made by Dooley last year and don't think for a minute that he was not behind most of the departures. Those were the best coaching moves Dooley has made since he has been here.

I certainly know of none. Harris to UT is pretty much a foregone conclusion because he doesn't even have a USC offer and it's unlikely he makes the trip. I believe he'll commit to UT before the end of July. | |

I was just simply asking if that might be the surprise news that was being discussed on VQ for July 1st since you said we might hear something soon on Paul Harris.
Either way, would be a nice addition to the class & the sooner, the better. | |
