I meant redshirt-soph. year as in his 3rd year, I didn't word it properly but obviously every player needs at least 2 years to prove himself.

Disagree.. an LB has to have both in the 3-4 because the LB's have to play in space and up on the line. The DL has to have quickness over speed, but the the LB's need to be exceptional at both and have all around athleticism. Goeas brings 1-2 things to the table.

Personally, the Goeas get was just to solidify Koehler and prevent his mind from wandering from now until US-Army game. We will find out a lot more about D.Campbell after this season because he redshirted last year. Same goes for Z.Barnes because he will see time at LB.

I trust the coaches with the later two.

Have you really watched Goeas play? And how fast does a LB have to really be? By your logic Brandon Spikes shouldn't be playing football. Instincts and quickness are more important than raw speed at LB.

I think we land him. If we were to pull this kid and flip Levenberry that would be sick. Vereen is a nasty player no one talks about. And Goeas is a good prospect. Zanca is very underrated in my books. So a class with Vereen, Grace, Goeas, and Zanca would be nice. The jury is still somewhat out on Campbell and Barnes but I like their athletic ability.

I agree it would be unreal to get Levenberry and Grace... Vereen is our top LB and he is going to be a ball player, I'm still not sold on Goeas or Zanca. What's on their tape hasn't proved to me that they have what it takes. Zanca has said to be training very hard so he may have improved. Goeas could be good with a RS. How many LBs do yall think we will take? I couldn't agree more about Campbell and Barnes so people shouldn't knock on them.

Grace totaled 115 tackles, 5 sacks, and 4 INTs last year. He ran a 4.43 40 at a combine in March.

He needs to put on weight, but a college workout plan would make him in to the player that he needs to be. Look at C.Maggitt, he came in at 200 and Palermo said he is 240 now.

Wasn't he about 205ish when he played in highschool then bulked up between NSD and his arrival on campus?

I guess the question about Grace is does be have the frame to add that amount of weight like Maggit did
