Brendan Langley confirmed the reports that Alabama and UGA are his co-leaders at defensive back but …

The 6-foot-1, 187-pound cornerback from Kell High School, also wanted to disclose something else about his co-leaders:

“They’re also the only two schools I’ve visited so far,” said Langley, who attended UGA’s V.I.D. or “Very Important Dawg” junior day on Saturday.

“They’re definitely my two favorite schools. But I also want to go down to Florida. I’m planning on visiting Tennessee this weekend, and I also want to see South Carolina. Once I’ve seen all those schools, then I feel like I will have seen enough to make a good decision.”

I think he'll be a Dawg in the end. Reminds me of the Vonn Bell situation. Both know where they're going but are going to take advantage of their situations for now.

Also, mentioned that he doesn't talk about PT with coaches and that it will be determined by his play. Liking that attitude, especially because playing time at DB will be a battle with the kids being brought in lately.

Not a trade since both are in state kids to both schools. But Langley is going to be nice. Big smooth CB that can run. I really like his deep speed.

BB, interested in your opinion on how many DB's we bring in this class...how far fetched do you think a class of Mack Alexander, Ramsey, Fuller and Bell would be?

If we can pull Fuller then he's a take. Bell, Alexander, Ramsey, and I would guess for now Donnie Miles is the other DB. I would've offered Ryan White if Miles had gotten an offer though JMO.

The defensive backfield is shaping up to be our most talented and promising young group IMO. Especially when you consider whats on the board for '14 potentially. After this '13 class I think would rank the DL and DB's 1a and 1b.

We finish with Ramsey, Bell, Alexander at Db then the secondary will be the most talented group on the team in a year or two. McNeil, Bonner, Alexander, Bell, Tino Thomas, Justin Coleman, Randolph, Orta, and Daniel Gray is a lot better group to roll with than what we've had here in the past 2 years.
