| A waste of time to recruit though. Why spend the time and effort recruiting someone that has been an Alabama lock from the day he was born? If the Alabama coaching staff had their way I'm sure they would love for him to play the recruiting game for the next 11 months and use up other coaching staff's valuable time and resources. |

I'm probably wrong.... | Not necessarily. Most coaches will no longer sign the player and then ask him to take a greyshirt (like we did with Tino Thomas last year before the new rule), because then they are losing a precious spot that class. They will most likely do like Saban tried to do with Justin Taylor and Kwon Alexander this year...ask them to not sign with anyone, take a "greyshirt" with Bama, and be an EE in January 2013 (and be a part of the 2013 class). |

Dont get me wrong I'd like to see Tennessee get him but I still think it's nothing but a waste of time. He would probably walk on at Alabama rather than take a scholarship offer somewhere else. If the kid is interested make sure he's the one being proactive about it instead of our staff putting in countless time and resources into pursuing him. JMO. |

No," Walker said flatly when asked if there was pressure to sign with 'Bama like his dad and brothers. "They are behind me whatever I do and they know that just because it's the right thing for them doesn't mean it's the right thing for me.
