| Based on a 247 article today he was "blown away" by his visit and is really disappointed that Tennessee didn't offer. Says he is considering coming back for a summer camp in hopes of earning an offer.
While in town he and his family stayed with Coach Serrano. It may have been mentioned, but Crane and Serrano's son are friends. |

| I think he is an ace in the hole recruit. I think he is good enough, but the staff is chasing other lineman, & he might commit asap. so they are holding that card IMO.

| I hope we get back to our old ways of branching out in recruiting.. We won a lot of games with kids from all over the country.. And yes, I know Bray is from Cali. |

-T- | I could definitely see this being the case, especially this early in the year before the exact number we can take in this class has been clearly defined. I just would hate to miss out on a kid like this. There is a huge need for aggressive OL like him in this class IMO. |

| We may begin to see his stock soar late nxt year before NSD much like Cochran from the '12 class.. But the staff did well in establishing a relationship very early in the process |

Dane Crane loved his recent unofficial visit to Tennessee but the Volunteers didn't offer so the Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita center is planning another trip to Knoxville this summer.
"It was a really awesome visit," Crane said. "I spent literally all of Friday with coach (Sam) Pittman. It's an incredible place and I really liked it. I didn't get an offer which is kind of disappointing but it seems like it will lead to that.
The 6-foot-3, 289-pound prospect is serious about Tennessee and he has some family friends in the area to defray costs but getting from Southern California to Knoxville could still be pricey. Crane said it would be worth it if the Volunteers offered.

| Sounds like we'd have our next OL commit if we'd offer. The kid's film looks good. I know his offer list isn't impressive at the moment, but I don't really see what the hold up is here for us (or any school for that matter). |

| Kid will commit when offered so no need to rush it. CDD is one to try to hold off on commitments when needed, so may be reason why offer not given yet. He doesn't need to burn CDS if the offer has to be taken back cause another better OL wants to commit later on. Also, like I've mentioned multiple times this kid really needs to go through our camp before we can say he is going to be good. The OL on his team seem like beast playing against hobbits. He needs to go against some big nasty southern d-lineman before an offer can be justified. IMHO that's all... |

USC produces pretty good linemen without them having play against southern D-linemen. If that's the case then we shouldn't ever offer a west coast player. |
