Owensboro produces a decent number of D-1 baseball players, especially Apollo HS. They have a very solid baseball program. Where'd you grow up Lynx if you don't mind me asking?

Hunter Bivin Highlights - YouTube

Newest highlights on this kid. He moves really well. If memory serves me correctly, Apollo plays in 5A in KY.

His team went 2-9 last year. Basically the only bright spot on his team.

Obviously the kids he's playing are a lot smaller than he is so it's tough to evaluate how he'd do against better competition, but I like how he keeps the pad level relatively low for being 6'7". Pass blocking looked good but with arms that long and the size advantage I can't really take anything from it. Great looking prospect, I was actually surprised he wasn't in the Rivals 250 given his size and offers.

Plays 20 minutes from where I live. I'll have to check him out. I havent heard anything recently but local folks were saying ND during the football season.

Fortenberry said we shouldn't be surprised if he is here for the March 3rd Junior Day.

"Bivin is a massive tackle who is strong and has very good feet for someone his size," Niebuhr said. "I particularly like what he does as a pass blocker. He not only has an excellent punch but is smart enough to use his long reach to his advantage."
