That player would have gotten the same type of coverage that play as Rogers did.
Arnett wasn't going to take over a game like Hunter, but he could have been really nice possession receiver for UT. IMO a better Gerald Jones. |

Why do you think Bray was forced to go another way with the ball. And Arnett wasn't getting open in that game. I looked for him and UGA's Cbs were having their way with him.

Im sure there were certain plays that put focus solely on Rogers, but I do not believe he was completely shadowed by UGA players. Rivera had a great game because of Bray finding Rivera in the open zones.
Im not saying Arnett is the next big thing or he was a great receiver last year, but neither was Ace Sanders.
We have hijacked this thread so lets just agree to disagree.

LSU has the best depth in college football when it comes to running the ball, they could handle it. You can't forget about Reuben Randle and Odell Beckham, both were very good recievers.
Both of those teams had an x factor that didn't allow them to blitz like crazy like they did against UT. Rogers is a great reciever, but he couldn't stretch the field and good corners locked him down.
UF wasnt that good at rushing the ball last year except for when they played UT. They ranked 73rd in rushing. | You really need to appreciate the talent we have in Rogers. He is special and was better than Alshon last year. |

Tampa (Fla.) Wharton cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III injured his ankle in the shuttle on Friday and was on crutches all day after that. But there was some hope that he would test it out Saturday or Sunday, especially when he wasn't limping noticeable either day. However, he was never able to suit up for either day of 7-on-7 other than to snap center for his team. His tweet that he was the most athletic center in the country was a good one, but it would have been great to see him out there battling Kendall Fuller for the No. 1 cornerback position. | -Rivals.com |
