I think it must be some kind of internet virus that actually affects people and makes them stupid.. Unfortunately not enough people are immune to it..

I said this several times already, this is the type of crap that you will have to deal with when you post on this board. I like hearing your updates from time to time but hate that some VNers have turned you off to coming here. I wise Alvin the best no matter where he goes and I hope you come back and see us from time to time.

Volnation used to be great. However, it has been over run by idiots that past year or two.

Mods have their work cut out for them.

Information has decayed into wild speculation in which people use it as fact. Such is life on a message board though.

This is still by far the best message board of all teams.

Totally agree and then you have to work through several pages in a thread just to find out info about a recruit.

I appreciate that. I wish I hadn't told you guys who I am sometimes, but during Jason's recruitment, there were so many positive people here . I really just fell in love with a few of the posters. I loved and respected how passionate the fans were. Some are now friends personally because of it, and some I put my foot up their butts.

Overall it's been good, but now... geez.. it's not fun any more because of all the personal attacks, some toward me specifically & without warrant. I have thick skin and I don't really care, but the basis and the purpose of these threads is to obtain highlights a good information like Jmoore provides often. I appreciate the stats and updates.

I won't be posting as often. I'll update y'all from time to time, but I'm not going to talk about AK to y'all. He's like one of my own sons, and what I learned in Jason's recruitment is to keep stuff to yourself, and that is EXACTLY what I've advised AK to do. Dont give anybody any crack doors and windows to look through, and when he decides to commit wait until the last minute and find the (1) person in that school that you can trust (recruiter & head coach only) and stay as a silient commit until NSD. Let folks say and think what they want to think.

Just watched his film. He is definitely my favorite running back in this class with Tyshon Dye being a close second. Hope to see this kid in Orange one day. I don't understand why there is so much negativity in this thread. I think people forget that this is a huge decision in these young athletes' lives. I really think some posters on here forget that these guys are real people. It's shameful.

That's excellent advise MZTERRY. He is fortune to have someone close to him who has gone through it already. I hope he picks us but in the end it is his choice.

From what I've seen you're doing fine.. Solid advice you gave Alvin.. He is lucky to have folks like you that care about HIS best interests. You might also tell him that if he does happen to partake in VolNation to view it as a source of entertainment and not much more.. Kind of like the new episodes of Beavis and Butthead... Completely understand. Before Jason announced, no one knew you were actually his mom. The difference today is folks know your relationship with AK. Though I appreciate the info you bring, I think you are doing the right thing by keeping it quiet so he can enjoy the process. It is not really my business to know what he is thinking, so I should not expect it. Once his recruitment is done, I hope you continue to post or atleast post in Jason's thread about your experience as a Vol mom. Again, thanks for being a part of the Vol nation.

I hope you remember the positive posters that you grew to like and don't think of most VOL fans as the knuckleheads that are on your other list. I think there has been a change on VN over the past year or so it seems. There is a lot of weeding the needs to be done in the VN garden.

I hope AK is a VOL in the end but if he's not then I wish him the best.
