Clemson still is the big favorite from what I've read for Dye.

"My mom liked everything," Dye said. "She said if it was up to her she'd commit there right now. It's the first school she's been to. And my brother's favorite team is Clemson. My granddaddy liked it too but he didn't say too much."

The Elberton (Ga.) Elbert County standout received a specific message from offensive coordinator Chad Morris.

"He said, as you know, you've been our guy since day one and Clemson was the first school to offer me," Dye said. "He didn't pressure me to commit, but he said they've offered six running backs and they are looking to land one more. He said they wouldn't want to be in a position where they'd have to turn me down. That gives me more to think about."

"Clemson and Auburn," Dye said. "I think they are both even for me."

What has the pair of Tigers tied for No. 1?

"They both offer something," Dye said. "Good coaches and if I don't play all four years they wouldn't cancel my scholarship. They've both told me that. If I'd commit early in my senior season and if I got injured they wouldn't cancel my scholarship."

Apparently a Clemson mod said earlier today on their board that if Dye commits they are done with RB recruiting and won't have a spot for Green. Seems doubtful to me but that's what he said.
