Funny they're having a lifting comp at Central. When I was there, we worked out in a 15 x 20' dungeon under the stadium, and our weights were covered with rust. Maybe all those fund raisers we did finally paid off.

Tell Austin to get some of these guys to start committing! We need to get the ball rolling a little bit...I know, I know, it's only April, but would love to get 3-4 big commitments this weekend. For example, 2 RBs named Henry and Kamara would be a great start! And maybe Ramsey and Mustafaa on defense (would love to get Bell committed, but don't think he will be there this weekend).

They built a field house since then, but the lifting competition is held in the roundhouse!

That is very strong for someone still a junior HS

He is very strong, as were alot of the kids there. hes been working out since he was 11 and Hes also very determined and focused. he said before we went he was winning bench and cleans.

Yeah, I was present. Did not make it to the O and W game though. Yeah I was caught up in the middle of that excitement. Had a freshman (CHS) squat 405!


Austin had a good day! I didnt get to watch many of his lifts, but heard some of the excitement surrounding him. Guess we'll see you guys again in the Fall Scrimmage @ Bradley!
