| Can we talk numbers? With the slew of commits this week it has me perplexed as to what our final number at positions will be.
Lets get some discussion going as to what everyones opinion is on our number crunch.
I am hoping that we can end up signing 21 players by Feb including Orta and Bullard (don't think Loften ever makes it). So include Orta and Bullard in your numbers but only use 21...unless someone can make a good case as why we should use a different number.
Skeeter, feel free to comment if you have any info that can steer us in the right direction (coaches opinion on how many they will sign this class total or at a certain position (LB, DT especially).
My best guess as of now.
QB -1 (Peterman)
RB -2 (Cross, Hill)
WR-3 (Bowles,Redding,?)
TE -1 (?)
OL -3 (Bullard, ?,?)
DE -2 (Lewis,?)
DT- 2 (?,?)
LB- 4 (Henderson, Peters, King, ?)
CB- 2 (Orta, ?)
S - 1 (Blanc)
That has me at 21....
If we can take 25 like Skeeter says, then I would think you would add a DT, DEX2, and either a LB, S or RB.

| We will have to tell some kids thanks but no thanks! Our commitment list by late November will look overwhelmingly different. IMO. |

| May not be anything, but going off of MZTerry's comments in Croom's thread about if he is a bulldog or not does not make me feel good about our chances. |

| With us appearing in a good shape for Patterson, Croom being 50/50, Redding on board, and Bowles on board, it makes me think one of the following.
1. We believe we're out of it with Croom.
2. Croom may end up at TE if he is a Vol in the end.
3. We will exceed our scholarship limit unless we have a lot of attrition.
4. We will oversign and some current players will lose their scholarship
(Dooley made his opinion pretty clear on this yesterday at media days)
5. WR depth is needed, but with the numbers being tight, there is certainly more need at DL.
Any other possibilities? I am gonna go grab a Tylenol.

| If we get Humphries, look for us to be done on the OL. Also, we will not sign a TE in this class. |

If we miss out on Humphries, we'll take more OL. |

| I've said 5 LBs from the start. I think the defensive front 7 numbers could be crazy this year with us leaning towards a 3-4.
The amount of WRs we are in on ATP is just shocking to me. I love it. |

Signing one player for a group that makes up five spots is what could get us right back in the mess our OL has been in. JMO IMO.
