"They're definitely in my top-five," Turner said of how he views Tennessee at this early stage. "I don't see myself making an early commitment or anything, but Tennessee's going to be one of my top schools for sure. It's a great program, I like the SEC and getting that early offer meant a lot."

"It was real exciting," Turner said of the Vols' high level of interest, as evidenced by his offer. "I wasn't really expecting it, but it definitely felt good to find out about it after camp."

"Tennessee was a real cool place, I liked the coaches a lot and just the way they run the program, everything was real comfortable," Turner observed. "Football wise I like the scheme, I think it would be a really good fit for me and after being down at camp I can see how I could do different things in the offense."

Turner picked up his first two scholarship offers of the process from Illinois and Tennessee. He picked up his offer from the Volunteers after attending their camp this summer camp, and is looking to get back to Knoxville soon.

"I think I am probably going to try and go to Tennessee next week," Turner said. "We watched a video about how packed the stadium gets and I just would like to get there to see a game."

He has not committed but there is mutual interest. Definitely a name to watch.

Yeah, that was what I was referring to as well. Sounds like maybe they meant he was just expressing strong interest in Tennessee but worded it very badly. Hard to believe we'd have a silent commitment for the 2013 class that happened last year. Why would it be silent? Doesn't add up.
