| | Junior Member | Is there a rule against UT signing an instate QB? We offer everyone else in the US and we have 3 or 4 QBs just as good instate. |

| Who was the last good QB to come out of Tennessee? Not trying to be a smart a** - I just can't get C.J. Boleman off the brain. |

| No. The coaches will offer who they think is worthy of a scholarship... at the moment, that is no one in the state of Tennessee. |

We didn't offer Chad Pennington either. |

Chad Pennington is a good answer, but I hope a useful QB has come out of TN since 1995. |

| Offering Tennessee kids no matter if they are good or not. Fulmer?

This is all changing now and slowly, we will begin to see higher end talent developed here.
QB is one position that cannot just rely on a bit of athelticism or raw talent. They really need to be developed at the HS level. |
