LOVE IT!

skill Set seems to be similar to UF's Cornelius Ingram (former HS QB)

If he can stay around or above 235 lbs and get him to work hard on the juggs machine and we may have a real weapon.

I wouldnt be surprised at all if he never sees the defensive side of the ball ever again.
I'm excited about this move as well. Brad Smelley also fits this mold and comes to mind.

I was told that they love his potential but he needs a lot of work in the weight room.

Correct. Hamstring injuries can linger a very long time.

I'll ask him about the Hammy and report back here. He told my son last week that he was 100%, so we'll see.

I love the move to offense for King. This opens up the possibility for immediate playing time or at the very least a chance to add depth and versatility to an area of need.

He has a great head on his shoulders and I'm always glad to see a young man who is unashamed of his faith suceed.

The big white dude from Bammer? I thought he was more a prototypical TE all the way...whatever the case, if Justin can play to that level...

That very one. Was a multi-sport athlete that literally played everywhere. He definitely could move for someone his size and spin it a little as well.

If they're committed to it, King could be a pleasant surprise at the position in the coming years.

I think that we might of found us a game changer in King that was really underrecruited by other teams I love Dooleys ability to evaluate talent.

Does anyone know if they have tried him out on returning kicks.

I realize some of these moves are going to turn out for the better, but isn't there concern for the number of players this staff has flipped from one side of the ball to the other? I can't recall ever seeing this many

I don't think it's a concern if they think they will be better at a different position than they played in HS. That happens to guys at many schools. The Titans just flipped a DE to TE and he didn't play the position at all in college (just saying it happens everywhere and even in the pros).

I'm wondering if they don't think he is physical enough to play LB (that could be way off). I was excited about his athleticism as a SLB but he never looked like a overly physical/hit you in the mouth type player in his highlights to me.

I don't think this is a long term thing for J.King, I think he can be a good linebacker throughout the length of his career
