Will be at camp, said Tennessee is recruiting him very hard. Was on campus for the Spring game & said he "loved" it.

His size is perfect, doesn't appear to be that athletic, 25 inch vertical. What's his arm strength like?

I have been told that Tennessee has a higher standard for QBs, and he is not very high on the Tennessee QB board

Maybe so, but this kid has the measurables and a cannon for an arm. Just because he isn't rated high now doesn't mean he isn't a good QB.

He's probably a better fit in y'all's system.

UA seems to be very interested in him. He will be a the June camp to throw for our coaches. Since UA wants to take 2 QBs he might be the perfect fit as the 2nd QB in the class. Especially now that Bateman says UA leads and his last visit before he commits will be to UA in June.

For UT he may not be what they need to replace Bray in 2 years or definitely not in one year. But he has all the tools to be a solid SEC QB if he a few years to develop.

Staver has one of the more atypical deliveries in the 2013 class, but he makes it work. The ball barely gets back to his ear before he starts his release, yet throw after throw comes out with plenty of zip and almost always on the mark. At 6 feet 5 and 230 pounds, Staver does not need to get a lot of arm action to throw the ball with power, and each pass comes out spinning well, aiding his accuracy and velocity. His mechanics did break down some on rollouts, but overall it was another outstanding performance from the Tennessee native.

It sounds like UA, AU, and LSU all very close to offering Staver. He seems to be movingup the charts very fast with his latest performance. A few more camps, especially during the summer, with the same performances, he will end up at an SEC shcool next year.

No offense but an offer from those three schools at quarterback does not hold the same weight as it does if it were for other positions. LSU's quarterback recruiting has been atrocious to say the least in recent years and Auburn doesn't have a quarterback on their roster that anyone else in the SEC would want. AJ is decent but all the rest of the qbs at Alabama are nothing to write home about.

Max may turn out well in a couple of years but if I was either of those three I'd direct my efforts toward Ryan Buchanan. Kid is going to light it up at the next level. His only drawback is the competition he plays against.

UA is already recruiting Buchanan

Buchanan is supposed to visit Tennessee in the summer as well. Florida is evaluating him. I think he will be a good player.

I would have taken Frazier or Moseley last year over Simms.. I think aub had to replace a few linemen last year which compounded their struggles.. I expect those two to be much better this year

They still don't know if Frazier can throw or manage a game. All they know is that he's talented. Moseley went to my rivals HS. Should've played baseball as he's not that talented a football player.

I disagree. He played pretty well IMO behind that green line.. Reports from spring are that Frazier is throwing well. U can't expect a freshman to throw for 3000 yds. I like them both.
