Got a feeling come 2014 he'll change that tune. Berry Brothers and Todd Kelly will have a lot to do with that if they all come. Great players want to play together.

UNC offered earlier this week, he said Miami was his favorite school growing up but he is worried about the mess going on down there. He wants to try & come to a Tennessee game this season.

"The latest offer is North Carolina, while Tennessee was the first.

"I like North Carolina, I like the hills and Carolina Blue. I've been down there twice and it's really lovely down there."

Do any schools stick out?

"All of them stick out right now, everybody is equal right now."

"Virginia Tech is DB University, they treat you like family there."

Tabor plans to hit a number of college games this season including Maryland-Miami, Clemson-South Carolina, NC State-Clemson, NC State-North Carolina and Tennessee-LSU.

"I'm a big-time fan of Miami, but you know they are in some trouble now and I wouldn't mess with that," he said. "It may be cleared up by the time I'm a senior though, they have always been my favorite."

Tabor, a talented DB from the 2014 class, currently is sitting at 10 offers. These include Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Virginia, Tennessee, Maryland, Miami, VT, UNC, and NC State. As a sophomore, Tabor recorded 8 interceptions and returned one for a TD.

Quote:
"I want to get almost everywhere," he said. "I should go to Virginia and I definitely want to get to Tennessee. I want to get back to Clemson, Miami, Alabama, Auburn, Virginia Tech and UNC."
Quote:
"I don't have any favorites," Tabor said. "There are some schools that jump out at you because of the name of the school. You'll be like, 'Oh, this is my dream school'. Schools like Tennessee, Miami, Alabama, Auburn... You think, 'I can actually go there?'

Absolute stud. Tabor showed out at the Army All-American Combine. He competed with the best HS football athletes around the nation and really stood out and garnered much attention. Even though he is only a 2014 player, he already is 6-foot-1 and weighs 170 pounds. He was named 1st team ATH at the combine. Jalen Tabor is going to be one of the highest rated 2014 prospects I have a feeling. He REALLY liked UT early on. But I think Coach Sirmon was the one recruiting him. The current staff needs to stay on him.

Quote:
On the defensive side of the ball, several stars from the 2014 class managed to stand out, including Woodbridge (Va.) Woodbridge Senior DE Da'Shawn Hand and Washington (D.C.) Collegiate Friendship Academy ATH Jalen Tabor.
Quote:
Tabor is a star in the making for the 2014 class. The Washington, D.C., recruit already has an impressive offer list and could be one of the top overall prospects in the class.

Tabor was rated/ranked the #1 prospect at a recent D.C./Maryland area underclassmen event.

Quote:
1. Jalen Tabor, DB, Friendship Collegiate (2014): Tabor did not win every battle, but he did very well in man coverage. He showed ball-hawkish skills, terrific instincts and the ability to ride receivers throughout their routes. Tabor is very loose and makes his transitions easily. He knows how to fire forward and anticipate a route as well as turn and hightail it downfield (i.e. great recovery speed). Tabor has grown two inches since the start of the 2011 season and has added bulk to go with his long frame. He looks the part of a potential Rivals100 recruit.

Losing Sirmon stings a bit here. We'll recover, though.
